Recipies

CRUNCHIES 

2 cups of oats 
2 cups of coconut 
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 
1 1/2 cups of sugar 
2 cups of flour 
2 T syrup 
250 g margarine 
2 T boiling water 

Place oats,flour,coconut and sugar in a big bowl. 
Melt margarine and syrup. 
Mix bicarbonate of soda and water,add to margarine.
Mix and add to the flour mixture.
Spay Spray and cook onto flat baking trays.
Press mixture firmly into the baking trays. Make sure that it is even. 
Bake for twenty minutes,at 160*C.
The biscuits will be soft when the come out of the oven but they should be golden.
Wait for about 5 minutes for them to get a bit cooler. 
Cut into squares.
Leave them in the baking tray until they have got harder. 
Remove and place on a cooling rack until biscuits are cool and crunchie.
Store in air tight containers.

Recipies

French Toast

2 eggs 
Salt and pepper 
15 ml milk or cream 
3 slices of bread 

Mix the ingrediants together and soak the bread in the egg mixture. 
Add butter to a pan and whenit starts to sizzle take a slice of eggy bread and place it into the pan. 
Fry gently until golden on both sides.
Serve with tomato sauce or a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.

Eggs Scrambled

For one person: 

2 eggs 
10 ml butter 
Salt and pepper 
15 ml milk or cream 

Mix all ingrediants EXCEPT the butter. 
Melt the butter in a pan.
Pour in the mixed ingrediants and cook over low heat.
Stir gently until the eggs are creamy and soft.

MILO MILKSHAKES 

250 ml milk 
2 T milo 
2 large scoops of chocolate ice cream 
2 t sugar 

Blend all the ingredients together and serve in a tall glass.

SODA FLOAT 

Your favorite fizzy coldrink - Fanta,etc 
Vanilla ice cream 
100's and 1000's 

Pour a tall glass of cooldrink. 
Pop a table spoon or two of ice cream on top. 
Sprinkle with 100's and 1000's

PEPPERMINT PUDDING 

1 packet instant vanilla pudding 
1 cup of milk 
150 ml cream 
1 large peppermint crisp chocolate 

Beat all ingredients together. 
Sprinkle the crushed peppermint crisp on top. 
set in fridge.

Recipies

This is a lovely treat for your family. 

COCONUT ICE 

400g of desiccated coconut 
500g of icing suger 
1 tin of condensed milk 
Red food colouring (or any colouring you like) 


Combine the coconut and the icing sugar in a large mixing bowl. 
Add the condensed milk and mix well. 
Halve the contentsof the mixing bowl. 
Add a few drops of food colouring to one halve of the mixture. 
Turn the coloured mixture out onto a baking tray and press down.
Place the white mixture onto of the coloured mixture and press down. 
Cut into squares before it gets to hard. 
Leaven to harden for about half an hour. 

To double the batch,make one whole batch coloured and leave one whole batch white. 
Layer as before.
